Nibbs hunted with Rob this year and shooting with his Sako 6.5x55 he made his way through his plains game cull/management list of 2 kudu, 3 impala, a blesbok, duiker, red hartebeest and warthog. Rob also took a world class klipspringer in Haaspoort Mountain and a fantastic white springbuck on my father-in-law's property near Aberdeen.
Rob's Sako is well set-up for long range shooting and he made an outstanding one shot kill on an impala at over 400 yards.
Although I couldn't hunt with Rob this year, it was great to catch up around the campfire and hear the days hunting stories. We look forward to welcoming Rob back again next March.

This is my third hunt with Karoo Wild Safaris and as usual the accommodations, superb food and gracious hospitality that Victor and Lindsay and staff provide is just outstanding. The mountainous hills, deep valleys and rugged plains of thick bush provide the most enjoyable experience of stalking the various species that I could ask for. I'm already planning my fourth trip and can't wait to get back to Karoo Wild for more fantastic hunts.
